cartographic exercises is a multimedia installation that speculates on potential dynamic and interactive cartographies as well as the possibilities of both physical and mixed reality installation towards experimental ways of engaging with planetary-scale networks and entanglementes

in reference to Kate Crawford’s and Vladan Joler’s Anatomy of an AI System (2018)*, the installation presents a partial abstraction of the material entanglements of an AI system’s production chain and its infrastructures in which human labor, data, planetary resources and technical infrastructures come together to form a global, interdependent system
