con trasfondos antropológicos, los procesos que clonfuyen y atraviesan esta página derivan de la pregunta por mutables formas de escucha, esculpidas en resonancia con manifestaciones divergentes del tejido socioecológico planetario del cual somos parte. reconociendo la fluidez, la heterogeneidad, lo difuso, lo turbio, el cambio y la interdependencia como componentes inherentes de dicho tejido, estos procesos se entrelazan con diversas onto-espistemologías y afectos iterando, plasmando, imaginando y proponiendo técnicas de encuentro entre los seres humanos y el ecosistema.

 coming from an anthropological background, the processes converging and traversing this site stem from the inquiry into mutable forms of listening, sculpted in resonance with divergent manifestations of the planetary socio-ecological fabric of which we are part. acknowledging fluidity, heterogeneity, diffuseness, disturbance, motion and interdependence as inherent components of this fabric, these processes intertwine with diverse onto-epistemologies and affects, iterating, imagining, and enacting technics of encounter among human beings and the ecosystem.

     urban streams es una escultura acústica -inspirada en las técnicas de origami de Ron Resch- que mueve sus módulos en relación con las frecuencias audibles en un lugar determinado.
el prototipo está formado por paneles de micelio y pétalos de bioplástico poroso autocultivados, cuyas cualidades acústicas -absorbentes e insulares respectivamente- generan una escultura sonora a partir del paisaje sonoro y posibles formas de modelar sus materialidades.

    urban streams is an acoustic sculpture -inspired by Ron Resch’s origami techniques- that moves its modules  in relation to the audible frequencies at a given location.
the prototype consists of  self-grown acoustic mycelium panels and porous bioplastic petals, whose acoustic qualities -absorbent and insular respetively- generate a sound-sculpture out of the soundscape and potential ways of shaping its materialities.
